| "Mayhem" Bob Bardell passed away on Saturday September 3, 2005 with his wife Kathleen "Lady K" at his side. Bob was the kind of guy that would drive from Texas to Florida to care for a sick friend. He would email you privately if you said something stupid on the Ford FE Big Block Forum rather than embarrass you there. He would share the tuning secrets with you that worked on his truck. Bob had probably one of the greatest engineering minds in Hot Rodding, but most of all he was always a gentleman and a friend. Cecile and I have never met Bob, or Kathleen face to face, but we are both deeply hurt by the passing of this wonderful friend. We love you Bob. We pray for you Kathleen. We are honored to have known you both for this short time, even with the miles between us. If I had to think of one word to describe Bob it wouldn't be a difficult task. The word would be "friend." |
